The ideal location in Powell River! This adorable and super clean 750 square foot house is just a minute walk to the Westview marina and ferry terminal. Right in the core of the Marine Avenue downtown business area, you are steps from some of the best dining and shopping Powell River has to offer.
The Quaint house features all the tech amenities you might require including high speed internet, satellite television and a USB quick phone charger/extension cables. If you are a foodie and more inclined to cook than watch the cooking channel, the kitchen will delight! It's fully stocked with quality kitchen equipment. Many charming decor elements warm the spaces. An accent wall and headboard features barn board hewn by the owner's father over 70 years ago! Two of the bedrooms are outfitted with 'reimagined' art deco bedframes done by local furniture artist, The Fiddleback Shack. Linens are luxurious in super soft bamboo and guests have a choice of pillows. The beds are made up with feather pillows but may be changed out for synthetic filled pillows of various firmness levels. The bathtub/shower has shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion..and if you forget your toothbrush, no problem. We have one under the sink for you. A snack basket welcomes you to tide you over until you can make it to the grocery. You will also find a few beverages in the fridge. We have fantastic water in Powell River so your daily 8 glasses are no problem!
Our linen turnovers are comprehensive after each stay so you can 'rest assured' every sheet, blanket and quilt is freshly laundered for you.
The Quaint House is stocked with several outstanding products by Melaleuca, a world leader in making eco-friendly products. They formulate using biodegradable and naturally derived ingredients.
You will be staying in the historic city core which means on weekend nights there can be the occasional noise from late night restaurant and bar patrons when those establishments close. Oh wait..that might be you! :)
