Upstairs there are two generously sized bedrooms both with kingsize beds. Unusually, the first bedroom is part of an impressive suite of three rooms comprising a bedroom, shower room and a spacious vaulted sitting room, only accessible to the occupants of bedroom 1. Both shower rooms are newly fitted with a walk-in shower. The sitting room over the archway has an electric log-effect stove. The bedding is crisp Egyptian cotton from The White Company with new Sleepeze pocket-sprung mattresses. The accommodation is immaculately presented with an eclectic mix of both old and new furniture selected to suit the character of the property.

Boat trips to the Farne Islands run from the harbour, the islands are famous for their nesting seabirds and grey seal colonies. The market town of Alnwick with its castle offers many facilities.
