This new and exclusive apartment is located on the outskirts of the tourist town ofRokytnice, a popular destination in theGiantMountains. The location is excellent with an abundance of hiking and biking trails. On one side there is the elongated town with its two squares while on the other side you'll find the mountains and forests. By the apartment building there is a common fireplace with garden furniture. The building is just 200 meters from a self service. The main square lies within 1 km and contains shops, restaurants and public facilities. You have a reserved parking space beside the apartment building. You can also pay to use the guarded parking lot situated 30 meters from the building. An ideal accommodation for 4 persons. This first-floor apartment has an area of 54 m² and consists of a living room with an open kitchen plus a bedroom. In the spacious vestibule there is a large built-in cupboard for storing your clothes. The modernly furnished living area contains a comfortable sofa, two single beds, a satellite TV and a radio. The kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner electric stove with oven, a fridge with freezer compartment, microwave oven, toaster, sandwich maker, coffee maker and kettle as well as sufficient cutlery and crockery. In the bedroom there are two single beds and a closet. A crib and highchair are available upon request. The windows face south and west so all day long you have a sunny and very good view of the sporting events as well as the surrounding mountains, meadows and forests. The spacious bathroom has floor heating, a shower, hairdryer and toilet. To make your stay more pleasant the apartment has additional items like an iron and ironing board, clothes dryer and games. In the hall of the apartment there is a lockable cabinet for storing sports equipment. It is situated in the most beautiful part of theGiantMountains, with the dominant mountains of Lysá hora and Kotel nearby. Within a radius of 50 to 500 meters you will find dozens of restaurants and cafes, pizzerias, a "Weinstube", a disco and bars. The Berg hotel's "Starý mlýn" (Old Mill), 30 meters away, offers the possibility to dine out. In addition to sightseeing trips there are numerous sports facilities in the vicinity including tennis courts, volleyball, football and rolski areas, motorcycle riding, paintball, bowling, sauna, gym and a sports hall for tennis and other ball games. The skiing fun begins just 50 - 100 meters from the accommodation, where the nearest lift of Horní Domky is located. Here you will also find ski slopes of all categories and a new chairlift which brings you to the top of the longest run in theGiantMountains, the Lysá Hora at an altitude of 1344 meters and with a length of 2.5 km. In Horní Domky there is also a snow park for snowboarders. The ski center of Studenov, on the other side of Rokytnice, is ideal for less experienced skiers and families with children. The quality of the snow is excellent. There are ski schools, ski equipment rental and service, buffets and restaurants. A 6-day ski pass for the ski resorts in Rokytnice costs ± € 120 for adults and € 95 for children. There are discounts for families with children, children under 10 and seniors 70 + (2007/2008). There is also a network of well-maintained cross-country trails totaling 500 km, which makes theGiantMountainsa virtual ski paradise. You can access the cross-country trails just 200 meters from the accommodation. Other ski resorts in the area include Paseky (11 km), Harrachov (16 km) and Spindleruv Mlyn (40 km), the latter being the most famous and most popular. Culture, history and folk architecture can be found in Vrchlabí (High Elbe, 26 km) and in the city ofLiberec(45 km) there is also an aqua park. In the sports hall of Rokytnice there is the opportunity for ball games, tennis, aerobics, trampoline, fitness and sauna. To close an active day you can have dinner at one of the good but inexpensive restaurants close to the apartment.Please wear slippers or house shoes inside the apartment. In the stairwell, you can wear outside shoes as the staircase is cleaned every day. The apartment is a non-smoking facility. The apartment has a closed cabinet with linen. Please do not open it. There is a lockable cabinet for storing your summer or winter sports equipment. There is only one available crib for three apartments. When booking, please check to see if the crib is available.
