Here are some guidelines to help you have a pleasant stay as well as other details to know.
- Due to hygiene concerns, please bring your own towels, slippers, and personal items. (Beds sheets, blankets, toilet paper, shampoo&conditioner, hand soap, hairdryer provided).
- Please DO NOT wear outdoor shoes inside, you can leave your outdoor shoes on the entrance carpet.
- Thank you for being honest as to the number of guests who will be occupying the home. No guests or visitors at the property without the prior consent of the host are allowed. In case the unregistered person or persons are found on the property, the host has the right to charge $150/person per night or per day.
- No parties/events/alcohol are allowed inside. We have a spacious outdoor green field beside the building where it is perfect for events (there are barns, electricity, water, BBQ, and outdoor furniture available
- Garbage and Recycling: Protecting the environment is everyone’s responsibility. All garbage should be sorted and placed in appropriate bags and bins. Please put glass, wine bottles, cans, and other recyclable items in the blue recycling bin, wastes in the black plastic bags. If unsorted garbage is found, we will charge an additional CAD$200 garbage-sorting fee. Please never leave any organic garbage outside of the home overnight because it will attract animals. Please put all the garbage beside the garage door of the next building before you check out. There are extra garbage bags below the sink in the kitchen.
- Dishes: If you don’t want to wash dishes and take more time to enjoy the farm, you can bring disposable bowls, forks, spoons, and paper cups, napkins. However, we provide tableware and recommend using reusable tableware to save the environment! Please put back all the dishes after use and PLEASE do not leave a mess.
- BBQ: Please turn the propane gas tank off and clean the BBQ grill after usage.
- Please discard cigarette butts outside the house in a safe manner. Our farm is surrounded by cedars, which catch on fire easily.
- Internet: We will provide you password of Wi-Fi after you check in. Please note that our wi-fi is satellite, the signal is not strong.
- Quiet time is from 11:00 pm-8:00 am by law. Noise outside after 11:00 pm and fireworks are not allowed, as loud music, shouting, and excessive drinking are not allowed. Any noise complaints received from neighbors will cause immediate eviction of you and your guests.
- when playing kayaks, please wear life jacket which are hung on outside of main house.
- when use campfire , please extinguish it when you leave or go to sleep .
- Check-in/out :Check-in time is after 2:00 pm, We will send you the code 2 hours in advance before check-in time. Check out time is before noon(12:00pm), please check out on time and kindly turn off all the lights and air conditioner when you are leaving. Please double-check that all the doors and windows are closed.
- Security Deposit: Please respect the home. If you damage the home or left the house a mess, you will be automatically charged up to $2000 and an additional cleaning fee.
-There are outdoor surveillance systems outside the house. They are there for the safety of our guests.
-There is music player in the open barn, you can connect it with you phone by Bluetooth, enjoy your favorite songs around bonfire.
- The house is privately owned. The host is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, illness, loss of personal belongings, or valuable items of the guests that occur while on the premises or its facilities. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed on the use of premises or others whom they invite to use the premises. Please take all the responsibility for your safety during your stay.
