The Space:
Step inside your beautiful beachside home with a light and spacious living, kitchen and dining area. The lounge has comfy seating, a smart TV, a toasty fireplace and plenty of entertainment options.
The kitchen features an island bench as well as essentials, cookware and modern appliances. Enjoy your home-cooked meals at the lovely 6-seater dining table.
Open the sliding doors and step out onto the deck. This spot is an entertainers delight inviting you to unwind on the outdoor furnishings, surrounded by the beautiful Tasmanian landscape. Plus, there's a BBQ and an awesome firepit for those memorable moments with your loved ones.
Inside, a hallway extends from the kitchen and living space. Down the hallway, you'll find a laundry with a washing machine and a separate toilet. A beautiful bathroom awaits with a spacious walk-in shower. Three bedrooms complete the layout. Two bedrooms are furnished with plush queen beds, while the third features a playful single bed with an additional, single roll-out trundle.
Head upstairs where all the fun times await! Engage in a competitive or fun game of pool or catch your favourite TV shows in the upstairs rumpus area. There is also a queen bedroom upstairs.

The Neighborhood:
Bellingham is a peaceful coastal town nestled on the north-eastern shores of Tasmania. Known for its giant sand dunes and beautiful beaches, the beloved town is the perfect place to get away and relax. Many friendly local shack owners flock to the town on weekends and holidays all year round to enjoy the relaxed vibe.
Next door to the property is a recreational area with a tennis court, bocce pad, basketball half-court and a playground for the little ones. It is home to a spacious oval with cricket nets and even a nine-hole chip and putt golf course (the greens are maintained by the local wildlife, so Barnbougle it is not, but it is good fun).
Pipers River is a short 3-minute stroll down the road. The river beach is perfect for pitching your towel before taking a dip in the sheltered waters and for building sandcastles and beachcombing. There is a jetty and boat ramp suitable for launching small boats and other watercraft. It is a great spot for fishing and a fantastic little Bream hole exists if you know who to ask.
The property backs onto native bushland. Here, there are winding walking tracks to the mouth of the river and a couple of lookouts. If you take a walk at night, you might even see some of the resident wildlife, including wombats.
Situated within the Tamar Valley Wine region, Bellingham is surrounded by vineyards. Delamere and Sinapius are just 8 minutes away. The start of Pipers Brook Rd, which is home to Jansz, Pipers Brook, Clover Hill and others, is just a 6-minute drive.
Golfers need not feel left out. Courses can be found at George Town, Tam O’Shanter, Scottsdale, Bridport and the world-renowned Barnbougle. You could be teeing off at any of these within 30 minutes. For adrenaline junkies, there are mountain bike trails at Derby (Blue Derby, 1 hr) and George Town (Mt George, 30 mins), and the start of the Bellingham to Bridport 4WD traverse is minutes away (open to registered vehicles and motorbikes). There is a secure garage at the property to secure clubs and bikes upon request.
The beachside town of Bridport is only 20 minutes away. Home to a couple of IGA supermarkets, local pubs serving counter meals, a café, and a Gin distillery. The larger town of George Town is 30 minutes away, and the bustling city of Launceston is only 45 minutes
Getting Around:
Due to Bellingham's location, guests will need to have access to a car.
Other Things to Note:
Bellingham has no local shop so we recommend you bring all your necessary supplies with you. Tea, coffee and a basic pantry (salt, pepper, oil etc.) is provided. A general store at Pipers River is the closest at 10 mins away.
Please note that the sleeping arrangement available for the 8th person is a roll-out trundle bed.
