Accessed via four steps, you enter the property into a hallway, perfect for leaving your muddy boots after a day of exploring. Just off the hallway leads into the dining area where you can sit and enjoy a meal together as you look out across the countryside to the sea beyond. An archway leads through into the well-equipped kitchen with its splendid range cooker, and the handy utility area with a washing machine, ideal for rinsing through your swimming costumes after a day spent on the beach. Relax in the comfortable leather sofas in the sitting room which also offers lovely sea views and watch a favourite film, with the warming electric fire this is a cosy space on chillier days. There are two pleasant bedrooms with the master double boasting an en-suite, and the twin room has distant sea views. The village of Hartland is only a short drive away which offers plenty of choice if you fancy a night off from the cooking. Take time to explore nearby Hartland Abbey or take the short drive to Hartland Point and soak up the views of the lighthouse as you walk along the coastal path; much of this area is owned by The National Trust, offering a beautiful stretch of rugged unspoilt cliffs, sheltered valleys and ancient woodlands. Visit the charming fishing village of Clovelly overlooking the harbour, and try and spot the donkeys trundling up the hill with their packages.
