Clovelly semi by the sea is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). It's close to the best of everything that Sydney's Eastern suburbs have to offer. The beaches, the coastal walk, Centennial Park, cafes, restaurants, and night life. Only 2 minutes walk to Clovelly Beach, 10 minutes walk to the cafes at Bronte beach. Sydney city, Central station & Circular Quay are only 30 minutes away by local transport.
The Space:
* Relax and unwind at our cosy (80 sq.m) 3 bedroom garden apartment (half a house). The perfect base for family holidays and fun.
* Wide-opening French doors lead from the lounge/kitchen to create a fabulous indoor/outdoor entertaining area.
* Large flat screen Smart TV with Netflix, basic Foxtel, SBS and lots more.
* Cooling sea breezes keep the house cool - no need for air-con.
* Sundrenched front garden with outdoor table with seating, umbrella and gas BBQ
* Master bedroom with queen bed
* Second bedroom with double bed
* Third bedroom with single bed and additional pull out mattress
* All bedrooms with built in wardrobes and fans.
* Kitchen with large fridge/freezer, convection microwave, toaster, kettle, stove & oven with all crockery and cookware
* Bathroom with shower over bath.
* Ironing board and iron
* Parking - ample all day free parking on the street.
Guest Access:
The whole house is yours to enjoy.
Unfortunately, there are no laundry facilities on the premises, other than drying racks, but there are 2 laundrettes within 500 metres (Clovelly Road and St Thomas St).
For security purposes, check-in details will be emailed to confirmed guests 2 days before arrival for an easy smooth fast check-in. Kindly make sure you have submitted the security form with all the valid ID's of all adult guests staying so that you receive a seamless check-in experience :)
The Neighborhood:
Clovelly is a fabulous, family-friendly, beach suburb 6 kilometres from the centre of Sydney (30 minutes by public transport). Activities include swimming & snorkelling at Clovelly beach (200 m from the house and the safest beach in Sydney. Say "hullo" to Bluey the grouper! Walk the coastal walkway to the famous surfing beaches of Coogee and Maroubra in the South, and Bronte and Bondi in the North. Explore historic Waverley cemetery just at the top of the street. Nearby are Centennial Park, Randwick race course and Bondi Junction shopping centre. Dine at one of the many beachside cafes and restaurants nearby including the nearby Clovelly hotel, a local favourite or the many cafes at beautiful Bronte Beach.
Getting Around:
On street parking only. It's free and unlimited. If street parking is full, there's usually plenty of parking at the top of the street.
Public transport options include: 360 Bus to Bondi Junction shopping centre & train interchange - bus stop at top of street. 339 & 338 buses to the city - bus stop on other side of Clovelly beach.
Other Things to Note:
Unfortunately, there are no laundry facilities on the premises, other than drying racks, but there are 2 laundrettes within 500 metres (Clovelly Road and St Thomas St).
All guest are required to complete an online insurance / security form. This step involves uploading an ID and a selfie holding the ID to verify the booking details. For the home owners security, only guests who are listed on the security form are allowed access to the property.
Australia is a tropical country, from time to time you may see bugs, spiders and insects, mostly harmless. We don't accept cancellations on the above but are at your disposal should you need any assistance. We regularly fumigate the property to prevent unwanted pests.
There is also a building boom going on through out Sydney we don't refund for construction noise if anything is going on in the neighbourhood however if there is works being done next door or in the same building we will have a note in our summary.
