This two-bedroom with a loft cozy condo offers a western ambiance with spectacular views of the beautiful Ptarmigan Village Cedar Forest. Located in Ptarmigan Village near the outdoor pool and very close to the slopes of Whitefish Mountain Resort, this property offers everything a guest would need for their mountain vacation. Ptarmigan Village is a highly sought-after resort community nestled just over half way up Big Mountain (Whitefish Mountain Resort) and just minutes from downtown Whitefish, Montana.
With 1,162 square feet spread across three levels, you’ll love the cozy living room with a comfortable sofa, wood burning fireplace. It's the perfect place to wind down after your adventures! This property includes a fully equipped kitchen, with everything you need to prepare a great meal during your stay along with a large private deck just off the kitchen that has peekaboo views of Whitefish Lake. Please contact the reservation department for specific information.Just upstairs located in the loft area is an area that features a couch that converts into a sofa bed along with a bean bag chair and a flat screen tv. Downstairs in the lower level of the condo you will find two bedrooms each featuring queen-sized beds. Located at the end of the hallway is an additional bathroom.
During the winter season, Ptarmigan Village offers a shuttle service to Whitefish Mountain Resort for a small fee. Parking is free and available for a maximum of two vehicles; If you have any oversized vehicles such as Motorcycles, trailers and RV's or need additional parking options for extra vehicles the Village does have room in our oversized parking areas. Please speak to our reservationist if you need assistance with parking options.

Ptarmigan Village is a spectacular location just two miles below the world-renowned Whitefish Mountain Resort ski area and a short 10-minute drive to downtown Whitefish, Montana. During the winter months Whitefish features some of the best skiing in North America. This skier’s paradise, which boasts legendary runs like Hell Roaring Basin, Home Again, Tree Trails, and Ptarmigan Bowl which have long been known for steep terrain and abundant snowfall and was once widely considered a playground for only the hardest charging skiers and dedicated adventurers. However, in recent decades it has been transformed. With expanded intermediate and beginner terrain and multiple new lifts, and runs the Whitefish Mountain Resort has evolved to meet the needs of skiers of all abilities with over 98 trails. In addition to all the runs National Ski magazine rated Whitefish Mountain Resort as the #3 place to in the entire country! When the snow melts Whitefish Mountain becomes a summer playground home to zip lines, alpine slides, hiking, biking and so much more. The greater Whitefish area has some of the best golfing, water sports, fishing, whitewater rafting, festivals and is the gateway to Glacier National Park.
Pets are not permitted in any of the Ptarmigan Rental properties during short-term rental stays. Service dogs are permitted with notification and completion of proper paperwork prior to making the reservation. Montana does not recognize Emotional Support Animals as service animals, property owners are not required to accept ESA documentation. Guests traveling with ESA or Service animals are directed to call the Ptarmigan Rentals office to inquire.
Glacier Park International Airportis only about 20 minutes from Whitefish, Montana so getting here is easy!

If you should arrive after hours when the office is closed, no worries, there is a lock box outside of the office with a red phone next to it, please pick up the phone, which will auto-dial to our call center, give the call center your name and they will give you the lock box code and once you open it there will be an envelope inside with your name, the envelope will have a map of the village, amenities codes for the pool, hot tubs, and beach area (address to the beach will be on the code list) also a code or a key in which to enter your unit.
