Eucalyptus Lodge is our new Luxury Accessible Glamping Lodge. We hope to be able to also welcome guests with additional needs so that they too can experience the peace and tranquility that Lower Coombe Royal has to offer.
Lower Coombe Royal Estate is set in its own 8 acre valley on the outskirts of Kingsbridge in South Devon.
The estate is perfectly located to explore the beautiful Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that it is nestled in or to access the local beaches and Dartmoor too.

Eucalyptus Lodge is our new accessible, luxury Safari Lodge with a wood fired hot tub.
There is parking for up to 3 vehicles immediately outside the lodge.
You will be greeted on arrival by a lovely Welcome Pack of local produce!
The entrance hall leads into a large, vaulted, open plan living, dining and kitchen area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need to make your stay as homely and comfortable as possible.
There are large sliding doors and two floor to ceiling picture windows which allow the light to flood in.
The sliding doors lead onto a large deck with an undercover seating area.
There are views out across our garden and the valley beyond.
Children can explore the woods and communal gardens, build a camp fire to toast marshmallows or bounce away their excess energy on the large trampoline. There are also football goals, a table tennis table, swings and a giant slide in the play area.
We also have boxes of children's books and toys which can be borrowed on request!
We have resident ducks on our pond, very friendly free range chickens and a cockerel called Terence!
Eucalyptus lodge has it’s own private wood fired hot tub for you to relax in after a ‘hard day at the beach’.
The evening can be spent on the deck star gazing, wrapped up in our lovely Weaver Green blankets if there is a chill in the air!
The lodge comfortably sleeps up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms. There is a king size room with an electric adjustable bed. The other bedroom has twin beds (which are profiling if needed) The bedding is Egyptian Cotton with anti-allergy duvets and pillows.
There is a wet room with shower, sink and toilet.
The hall cupboard provides additional storage space and also has a washing machine.
The lodge is heated by gas central heating and is fully insulated.
8 acres of historic gardens and woodlands, children's play area, football pitch & trampoline.

The Loft, a one bed apartment above our garage.
The Coach House, a 3 bedroom cottage which sleeps 6 people.
Three Canvas Safari Lodges- Orchard Lodge, Magnolia Lodge and Cedar Lodge each with their own wood fired hot tub.
All properties can be booked via Airbnb.
Lower Coombe Royal has been our home since 2017 when we moved with our 3 children from Beaconsfield.
We live on site and are usually around should you need help with anything, otherwise you will be left in peace to enjoy your time away from the hustle and bustle of the usual busy family life!
Although Lower Coombe Royal is placed firmly in the heart of the countryside, we are within easy reach of many beaches, the South West Coastal path and Dartmoor. Our enviable location means there are plenty of great activities and days out close by. Lower Coombe Royal is easily accessible – just 20 minutes from the A38, 10 minutes to the award-winning Bantham surfing beach and 15 minutes walk to the beautiful market town of Kingsbridge.
It is possible to get to Lower Coombe Royal by public transport. The nearest train station is Totnes which is 25 minutes away. There is a bus from the station which stops just outside our gate. There are also local buses from Kingsbridge to the surrounding areas, although some services are quite limited.
Lower Coombe Royal is located approximately 15 minutes walk away from the town centre.
