The Frontlake house is on Kezar Lake is on the right at the end of the road. It is very well laid out and designed to face the West for incredible sunsets over Kezar Lake, Mount Washington, and the White Mountains. There are views from almost every room and on the wrap around porch, waterfront yard, and two boat dock.
The main house and has tall ceilings with open concepts and lots of windows facing west. The house looks toward the lake and incredible Mountain Views and sunsets.
The house has views from the kitchen, dining room, living room, fireplace area, the loft; roll top writing desk nook, loft den, and zen sitting area, as well as the master bedroom, downstairs den, bar and seating area, and even the twin bedroom.
You enter the main house to the right, on the lake. There is a paved driveway to a path on the right side of the house. The path goes both straight down to the ground level finished daylight basement, patio, hot tub and sandy sitting area above the lake and dock, or quickly left up a short set of stairs onto the main wrap around deck and first floor, all with epic views.
Coming up onto the deck, the main entrance door is straight ahead, the master bedroom sliding glass door is to the left, the lake to your right, and there are two other sliding doors which enter the dining room, and living-room if you were to walk around the wrap around deck.
Entering the open concept home via the main entrance, you immediately find the kitchen and can see the living areas, and all with terrific views through the mostly glass walls.
The Kitchen is inviting with a green marble bar top, with comfy stools, and aJen Aire gas cooktop stove. There is a wall oven, full sized fridge, dishwasher, trash compactor, and a coffee maker. And plenty of counter space for meal preps, eating and socializing. Within the cherry cabinets are a lifetime of of pots, pans dishes and cooking utensils. Brilliantly, the sink even has a mirror which allows you to see the view of the lake and the mountains, even with your back to them.
The dining room to the right has a big oak table with 8 comfortable sturdy chairs with fantastic views, as you are sounded by the glass windows. There is one sliding door behind the table to the deck.
There is a comfortable seating area adjacent to the dining area with a couch, chairs, and incredible views. You can also exit to the deck from here, both inside and out, you can see the lay of the land, the landcaaped back yard, natural shoreline, sandy seating area, dock, lake and mountains beyond.
Next there is an open fireplace room. All of these areas are connected and open concept with high vaulted ceilings and glass up to the rooftops facing the lake and western mountain view letting in tons of light. The sunsets are an ever changing scene of beauty, like you’re living in a live action painting.
A hallway brings you to the first guest bedroom with a queen bed to the right, a full bathroom straight ahead. To the left there is a hall to the master bedroom, with a master bath and a king sized bed and its own deck exit through the sliding glass door.
Upstairs there are 4 glazed gables and sloped vaulted roofs. Each gable faces a cardinal direction, and 3 areas are open concept affording views of the lake, with the forth hosting a private cozy bedroom with a queen.
At the top of the stairs, windows to the East, is a den with a couch and a tv. This area faces the guest house over 100’ away.
To the left, or North is a private queen guest bedroom with French doors, a big window and skylights on either of the sloped roofs, and built in dressers. To the South is the roll top writing desk, with its own window, and to the West is the Zen seating area right near the windows overlooking the lake and mountains. There, you’ll find a couple of bean bags and stunning views, looking through the great white pines, like you are in the trees.
Downstairs there is a daylight walkout basement with French doors, a den, a tiled bar, mini fridge, table and chairs in a seating area with windows facing the lake and with views. There is a guest room with two twin beds. This room has louvered windows which open to the seating area near the bar, affording a view of the lake when opened, or can be closed for privacy. There is a pull out queen couch in the den and a modern flat screen tv.
There is also a full bathroom and a laundry room down on the ground level. The French doors open to a patio and the hot tub area. From there it’s a stone throw to the sandy seating area above the dock and water.
The main house wrap around deck has amazing views, high visibility cable railings, and a grill. There are two distinct seating areas on the deck. The views cannot be beat.
The dock is 30’ long by 4’ wide.
The Hot tub is 84x84 and has amazing lake and mountain views.
You can comfortably dock two motor boats, there. For example we often dock a fiberglass 19' ski boat, and a 21' pontoon boat. Two bass boats would be fine too.
There are two public boat launches on the lake for power boats, and you may launch kayaks paddle boards and canoes right from the front of the house. The water is at least 6' deep at the end of the dock.
There is also a shared sandy association beach a 2 minute walk, 10 second drive, with a gradual drop off which is great for swimming with smaller kids.
