Villa walk through
The main entrance to the villa leads into the internal courtyard which provides a tranquil corner of the villa for a coffee and a read; with steps to the roof terrace. Through the front door into the lobby where you will a number of board games and sports equipment. On into the lounge with comfortable seating and doors to the rear terrace and patio. A stock of magazines and books, a Flat screen TV with Sky + HD including Sky Sports, Free WiFi, Music center with iPhone / iPod docking station are located in the lounge.
Newly (2018) refitted Kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, electric grill, electric kettle, toaster, fridge / freezer, dishwasher and washing machine and view into the courtyard.
A passageway to left of the lounge leads the Master Bedroom 1 suite and a passageway to the right leads to the Master Bedroom 2 suite, the Family Bathroom and 2 further bedrooms.
The lounge and all bedrooms have individually controlled air-conditioning and heating.
At the rear the large patio has a substantial area of covered terraces giving comfortable seating and outside dining overlooking the pool and gardens of orange, lemon and other trees. The large pepper tree provides a shady escape from the midday sun and the gas barbecue on the terrace will get plenty of use in aiding al fresco dining.
The pool is immediately surrounded by non-slip paving and is approximately 10 x 5 meters with a Roman end which is ideal for sitting and gives easy access to the water. The pool contains a Jacuzzi end to massage those sore muscles and color change LED underwater lighting which is spectacular at night. As a salt water pool it is especially kind to your skin due to low chlorine levels.

The local town of Fuente Alamo de Murcia is a 5 minute drive. It is a very Spanish market town and has 3 large supermarkets, numerous bars and restaurants, petrol stations and several banks (all have ATMs). There is also a Police Station and Medical Centers. A Saturday morning market. Also of interest in the town are 2 museums, Museo del Agua and the Museo Fuente Alamo (contemporary art and sculptures). The annual Fuente Alamo fiesta is generally the last 2 weeks in August and the resort fiesta is the second weekend of June. You will also find there are many parties throughout the year around the area. The MurciaToday dot com and HDAResort dot com websites are a useful source of information.

Located just over one kilometer from Exit 21 on the RM-2 motorway Hacienda del Alamo is extremely easy to access and with the superb motorway network in this region of Murcia it makes the rest of the region very accessible.
For golfers visiting Hacienda del Alamo, the Dave Thomas designed golf course, 7,353 yards off the white tees or 6,972 yards off the yellow tees provides a challenge for any standard of golfer. The resort also offers a golf Academy with a driving range of 36 practice bays, a 6 hole practice course, putting greens and offers "swing analysis" with the latest technology to digitally record and analyze your shots. The Clubhouse is a magnificent 2,000 square meter building of outstanding architecture both inside and out. In it you will find a bar, restaurant and a terrace with views of the golf course and a full range of amenities including a Pro Shop, VIP room, billiards, television room, bag room, bars, etc. There are at least 10 further golf courses within 30 minutes.
The resort also has a Football pitch, Tennis courts, Padel courts, a Pétanque terrain and a Bowls Green at the Sports Facility located 5 minutes ’walk from the villa.
The mountain ranges of the Sierra Espuna, Sierra de Carrascoy, Sierra de Las Moreras and La Muela-Cabo Tiñoso are all accessible within 30 minutes and provide a multitude of outdoor activities from walking to quad biking to canoeing.
The beaches of the Costa Calida are a short drive. Puerto de Mazarrón, Isla Plana and La Azohia are a 25 minute drive over the “La Muela-Cabo Tiñoso” mountains which were used in the filming of “Taken 3” with Liam Neeson. The Mar Menor, a 30 minute drive, is a salty lagoon separated from the Mediterranean Sea by the La Manga strip, a narrow sandbar some 22km in length. In the opinion of famous swimmer and Hollywood actress Esther Williams it is "the largest swimming pool in the world". Its relatively high salinity, which aids flotation, very warm water and a remarkable sporting infrastructures make this one of the most popular places in Europe for a wide variety of water sports. If you are flying into Murcia airport, you may be lucky enough to have a good view of the Mar Menor. Murcia airport is only a 15 minute drive from the villa.
The ancient cities of Murcia and Cartagena are both within 30 minutes and offer a wealth of architecture and interesting outings.
