The Grote Geere farm, with its monumental barn, has undergone various changes / adjustments since 1670. The former farm (with a "bakkeet", wagon house and pigsty) has been converted into a holiday and apartment complex on the basis of original drawings. All accommodations are furnished with antibacterial materials. Attempts have been made to build as sustainably as possible.
The Grote Geere is best described as luxury, comfort, free location in the landscape and yet easily accessible. A great base for beach and forest, the picturesque town of Veere, the cozy Domburg or the beautiful city of Middelburg.

DescriptionThis property has been completely renovated and has retained authentic elements such as the old beams, the fireplace with original Dutch tiles. This property is suitable for 8 people. The ground floor has a comfortable kitchen diner, fully equipped with, for example, a dishwasher, a 5-burner stove, an oven and a microwave. The spacious and bright living room offers a beautiful view over the farmland and has a TV, underfloor heating and a gas heater. Through the kitchen door you have access to the terrace. There are three bedrooms, one with a shower and sink. The second bedroom is a spacious room with lots of light and can accommodate four people. The third bedroom is a small double room with a sink and, in addition to a single bed, a folding bed. All bedrooms have box spring beds. In addition to the room with shower, the house also has a spacious bathroom with a bath, a sink, a shower and a toilet.
Oostkapelle is one of the larger centers of the municipality of Veere and owes its name to a chapel that must have been here in ancient times. Oostkapelle is located next to two beautiful nature areas, Domburg and Vrouwenpolder: the Manteling (740 ha), a wide piece of land with dunes and forests and the Oranjezon dune area (400 ha.).
