The farmhouse features spacious private garden views, this accommodation has a huge garden, terrace and private swimming pool to relax and unwind.
Our villa features 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, two fully equipped kitchens with a dishwasher oven and a washing machine.
Ample seating area inside and out in the sprawling garden featuring a pizza oven in the garden to rustle up a feast on a balmy summers night.
The space
This ancient 17th century privately gated farmhouse , a former hunting lodge and farmhouse has been sympathetically renovated to preserves still its warmth and original style. Here at La Siesta you will discover one large farmhouse sleeping 10 guests in total which has been divided into two independent apartments (I Cavalieri sleeping four guests) and Il Caminetto (sleeping six guests) for guests who prefer to use separately or in tandem-the two apartments adjoined by steps immediately outside.
A quaint 500 year old property, set in its own private gardens swimming pool, nestled within its own generous gardens.
La Siesta farmhouse offers relaxation and simple pleasures in abundance where time almost stands still in the picturesque area of San Lorenzo di Treia nestled within the majestic hills of Le Marche.
All rooms have been sympathetically decorated in a cottage style providing space and comfort in abundance.
The property is accessed via remote control gates and a driveway offering security and privacy in equal measure.
Il Caminetto
The first floor was once considered the main floor, with wooden floors and many details. Features include a large fireplace as the central focal point of the living room and boasts a master double (ensuite) bedroom overlooking the garden. A separate kitchen is located downstairs via steps and enjoys direct access to the pergola in the garden, ideal for breakfast, lunch or dinner of a balmy evenings.

Bedroom 3...Downstairs. Twin bedroom plus bathroom with shower and wc next to the bedroom.
I Cavalieri
This apartment features a large living room and beautiful fireplace plus a large wooden dining table with ten seats. A built-in kitchen with a particular sink carved into a block of travertine marble is found directly off of the living room.
Two bedrooms are located a few steps from the living room which interesting artefacts including a rug from the 1700s and the other from “Marina” furniture recovered over time. Plus a bathroom with shower and wc conveniently located directly between each bedroom.
I Cavalieri includes

OUTSIDE
The Garden.
A diverse Mediterranean fauna surrounds the cottage. The centuries-old olive grove creates dappled shade to enjoy long and lazy lunches under the summer sun. Relax by the pool and take in the panorama. A soft green lawn, meticulously tended by our gardener, provides a soft carpet for spending relaxing moments among gazebos or relaxing on quality cast iron furniture.
Our vegetable garden is available to guests to select ingredients required to prepare your an organic salad or help create that your favourite italian dish.
A wide array of plants and flowers provide sweet scents and colours during all four seasons.
Take a dip in the swimming pool located in the upper garden which boasts a majestic view of the hills and a valley that slopes towards the sea.
An ancient oven usually used by our chefs to bake handmade bread or pizza is also located here in the garden.

Farm to Fork..
Our garden and the nature surrounding it provide a pleasing variety of wild herbs to enjoy. Whilst located to the rear of the cottage, a vegetable garden is housed next to the barbecue providing seasonal, organic vegetables to pick and prepare your favourite dishes, completely organic, throughout the season.
Please note the property is not suitable for wheelchair access as there are steps leading up to the bedrooms.
Cats and small dogs allowed on request with an extra cost of 15,00€/day for the extra cleaning.
Extra cleaning and linen change on request 15,00€/h.

Guests have full access to all of the property.
Other things to note
Le Marche is home not only to outstanding countryside, towns and villages but also to stunning beaches and coastlines such as the much heralded Conero riveria with its white sand and plunging panorama reachable in around an hour from our villa.
Treia, a quaint hilltop village, is reachable in approximately 10 minutes by car from the home where you can enjoy an italian cafe, replenish your pantry in the local mini market, visit local stores or enjoy an authentic italian meal.
A favourite cafe bar with italian style pastries is located barely 5 minutes drive from the villa where you can sip your morning espresso and enjoy a freshly baked croissant. Alternatively we can arrange to deliver our favourite pastries, cold cuts and fruits for you to enjoy a breakfast feast to kick start your day. Our private chef is also available to cook up an italian feast at your home for lunch or dinner (please ask for menu's and further details)
Outside from the home and little more than 20 minutes you can find the charming Macerata, a hidden gem of a town offering everything you would associate from an authentic italian environment from cafe culture, to arts, restaurants, shops, supermarkets and more.
We will also be delighted to recommend and arrange trips to our favourite places to visit from the towns of Ancona to Urbino to the caves of Frassasi, acqualagna and the Furlo Pass and many more highlights.

Le Marche offers you the opportunity to explore its open air, widespread museum, made up of a rich network of cities of art and historic villages set among the rolling hills, where unique masterpieces are preserved, from Piero della Francesca to Lorenzo Lotto, from Raphael to Carlo Crivelli, from P.P. Rubens to Titian, not to mention the numerous historic theaters and ancient Roman streets, testimony to an illustrated past.
