The Cabin offers:
Enter through the gated driveway and be greeted by a serene landscape, with a stream running through the front of the property and Canoe Brook flowing through the rear. Step into the spacious yard, where a natural spring-fed pond invites you to unwind and relax. Spend leisurely afternoons lounging by the pond, hosting cookouts in the yard, or gathering around the backyard fire pit for cozy evenings under the stars. For cooler Vermont nights, retreat indoors and cozy up next to the indoor wood stove, or simply relax on the covered front porch and bask in the peace and quiet of your surroundings. Please be mindful of our neighbors and the neighborhood, this is a peaceful quiet town and we want to ensure their peace and comfort remains the same.
Inside The Cabin you will find:

• 1 Playroom/living room featuring a futon, accommodating one more person and offering a cozy space to relax or unwind. (first floor).

Enjoy a 35 minute hike within walking distance to Putney Mountain Trail Head, Have some thrilling adventures on nearby ski slopes like Mount Snow (35min), Magic Mountain (42min), Stratton Mountain (46min), Okemo Mountain (1hr), Bromley Mountain (1hr) , or leisurely strolls through charming towns like Brattleboro, Newfane, and Dover. This cabin provides an ideal basecamp for all your Vermont explorations.
If you're planning to visit during the winter season, please note that Putney Mountain Road from the top down the west side into Newfane is closed for the season.

1. Take exit 4 toward Putney/US-5.

Green Mountain Orchards: Visit from mid July until Christmas to pick some blueberries or apples from their verdant and vast fields. It is one of the largest remaining commercial orchards in the entire state. Although Green Mountain Orchards is best known for their tasty fruit and remarkable scenery, their baked goods are amazing, as well.
