Welcome to Sun Kissed, a newly remodeled upper-level condominium directly on Windermere Island’s famous pink-sand beach. Sun Kissed was created by combining two adjacent apartments. It is the largest condominium on the property.
Sun Kissed comes with membership in the Windermere Club, which has two tennis courts, dedicated pickleball court, heated swimming pool, and gym. In season, there is also an excellent restaurant and bar, library, and TV lounge.
Enter Sun Kissed into the open-concept great room with a soaring cathedral ceiling. This spacious room has a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows and sliders that face the ocean for sweeping beach and ocean views.
The living area, furnished with a sofa, love seat, and two club chairs, was decorated with fun and whimsey in mind. The coffee table top is a large hand hammered silver tray from India, two tables are ceramic tree stumps, and the rest of the side tables are glass topped vintage rattan furniture. The seating area also has a ceiling fan and a standing telescope. There is a hand carved console with a 55” Smart TV.
The dining area, with seating for four, offers the same sweeping views of the beach and ocean through the wall of glass.
The modern luxury kitchen, finished in stainless steel and white Corian, features a glass top range, refrigerator, dishwasher, and pantry. It is equipped with a toaster oven, Hamilton Beach coffee maker, French press, coffee grinder, popcorn popper, food processors (large and small), Vitamix blender, and more.
The great room also holds a record player, guitar, original art work, and a bar.
There is a half bath off of the dining area with a mirror from the original Windermere Island Club.
Sun Kissed has two bedrooms:
The master features an ocean view and is furnished with a king bed, dresser and side tables. It has LL Bean linens, Tempur-Probreeze Hybrid mattress, Scalamandre down accent pillows, ceiling fan, and private access to the shared full bath.
The guest bedroom also enjoys an ocean view through a wall of glass. It is furnished with a queen bed, desk/dresser, make-up mirror, and side tables. It features, LL Bean Linens, down comforter, down pillows, Tempur-Probreeze Hybrid mattress, closet, ceiling fan, and private access to the shared full bath. This bedroom has a private door to the deck overlooking the beach and ocean.
Shared bathroom:
Access for guest and master are separate. It is equipped with a shower/bath combo with glass sidewall, two sinks, one large vanity mirror with great lighting, and private water closet. The bath has a walk-in closet with safe and is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and lotion. Qtips, cotton balls, blow dryer, disposable razors, etc.
The Deck:
Sun Kissed has a vast 40-foot deck overlooking the beach and ocean, fully equipped for lounging or dining. It is furnished with a dining table for four, a day bed, two club chairs, and two chaise lounges, serving side table, all are teak with Sunbrella cushions, Weber gas grill. The best part about this is the late afternoon sitting without sand fleas and mosquitoes due to the breeze and second story. The sunsets to the back of the building. The sunrises and sunsets are magnificent. Moon on the water……
Amenities at Sun Kissed include AC throughout, WIFI, Smart TV, Sonos Move, books and games, beach towels, totes, a water dispenser, back-up generator, back-up water supply, 2 Jade yoga mats, a foam roller and a yoga blanket. and much more.
Outside:
A beautifully landscaped walkway leads to the outdoor shower and steps to the miles-long pink-sand beach which offers long restful walks and has dedicated lounge chairs for owners and guests. There are parking spaces and shaded roads for long walks. West Beach, half a mile away, on the calm waters of Savannah Sound which houses the kayaks and has a weekly barbecue is a nice walk or one can drive.
The Wash House:
The condominium property’s wash house has two stackable washer/dryers that are shared by 7 units.
