Over two levels and completely self-contained on the ground floor, there’s a Foosball table in the basement, a sun filled deck to enjoy the fresh air, a double garage to keep your car secure and plenty of room for extended families and friends to enjoy each other’s company.
Light filled from dawn to dusk, Rygar II accommodates flexibility when you want to connect with family and friends from all sides of the country. With the ground floor living spaces offering hard floors for easy living, you’ll find places to connect, to escape for some quiet time and even a place to remotely work in this well-appointed property.
Inside: Welcomed by a tiled entry so you can come in from the cold, you’ll love the modern cool grey/blue tones of the furnishings inside. There is a message center next to the coat closet that gives you everything you need for your stay.
The wood floors of the fabulous lounge make you want to sit back and relax on the sectional couch with its chaise watching the 65inch 4K Smart TV or admiring the raked ceilings that make the room so spacious. There is a leather occasional chair for those who like to sit up, and C-tables to move around so you can eat, use a laptop, or simply have a safe place for a drink. There are also some TV trays in the coat closet for your convenience.
The solid wood kitchen is dressed in white appliances including a built-in microwave, electric stove and dishwasher, and is fully stocked with everything from a selection of spices to Ziplock bags, chopsticks, wine goblets, muffin trays and barbecue utensils. There’s a toaster oven, rice cooker, air fryer and kettle for your convenience. We even provide a little welcome basket of snacks.
The tiled floors of the kitchen connect with the modern dining area which features an 8-seat square table fitted with 2 bench chairs and 4 dining chairs, and there are two more chairs on the snack bar. There’s a coffee station with your choice of filtered or pod coffee and a selection of teas.
The laundry is behind bi-fold doors and is stocked with a large washer and dryer, as well as your ironing essentials.
Our unique up-cycled solid wood furniture have dressed each bedroom with a touch of charm. Our beds are renowned for comfort with most guests remarking on the quality of our mattresses.
The master bedroom is a beautiful refuge featuring a queen size bed, a cuddler couch with throw rug and end table, a lovely grey floral artwork. The closet is well fitted with hangers, spare pillow, and a laundry basket, with a gorgeous timber dresser giving you more storage. Each bedroom also has a luggage rack.
Bedroom 2 also has a queen size bed with C-tables as nightstands, USB ports on the lamps and a gorgeous white wood dresser. The closet is fitted out like the master bedroom.
The ground floor bathroom is impeccable with a step-in tub with the shower over, toilet, a modern vanity complete with hair dryer, make-up washcloths, first aid kit, sewing kit, some soap, and hair washing products. We have fantastic water pressure from our showers.
The basement level has a 2-room living space that makes it the perfect kids hang-out. The main living area has a blue/grey sectional couch with white square ottoman to hang back, read a book, play games, or watch the 50inch 4K Smart TV. It’s dressed with floor lamps to change up the lighting or create a night light. Through an arch is the Foosball table, a desk set up so you can work or study remotely and more storage.
Bedroom 3 is set up with a queen size bed, a twin bed and a twin trundle making it a perfect place for a small second family to bunk in together or create a home away from home ‘sleepover’ night. There are extra pillows in the closet, as well as our standard laundry basket, luggage rack and hangers.
The basement bathroom is set up the same as the ground floor bathroom.
The rooms are dressed with modern artwork, books, greenery and all the comforts of home.
Outside: Enjoy sitting on the front porch with your morning coffee or an evening beverage after a big day lapping up the quiet of the cul de sac location and the prettiness of the street. The raised deck provides a great place to grill on its kettle barbecue or lounge around soaking up the sun with its 2-seater outdoor couch and matching armchair, while you watch your children play on the grass.
Take Note: Rygar I is also available if you are interested in large family functions or work conferences, we can accommodate both, providing the neighboring home isn’t booked. This means we can accommodate up to 18 people using both houses.
Save the Date: We cater for wedding parties using both Rygar I and Rygar II. We have fabulous wedding venues in De Pere and the Green Bay area including The Marc, Bemis Conference Center, The Swan Club, The Stadium View Bar and Grill, The Terrace at Marina Circle, Heritage Hill State Park, Stonewood, Homestead Meadows Farm, Pine Mountain Golf and Ski Resort and the Boerner Botanical Gardens. Wedding parties are perfect here – grooms party in Rygar II, bridal party in Rygar I. Book one photographer to get both pre-wedding sides of the action, and then have out-of-town guests stay here after the celebrations. Some venues offer complementary shuttle bus services within the local area. Our joint property package is the perfect answer when combining rehearsal dinners, wedding day celebrations and guests who can only get away for one night. Note: conditions apply, and a mid-stay change over fee applies if required.
We can have snow between November and May each year. The temperatures range from -10F – 98F and we can be quite humid, however the waterways keep the area cooler.
We pride ourselves on being able to cater for all types of travelers and for all reasons. There’s ice-skating at Titletown Hyvee Plaza, or maybe you’d like a wine tasting at Ziegler Winery (44miles south) on Lake Winnebago. If you’re interested in the arts or you’re in town to see family perform, the Weidner Center, Ashwaubenon Performing Arts Center or Meyer Theater have a selection of musicals, school performances and special events. Rygar II has Aldi, Festival Foods and Walmart for groceries, plus there’s a fantastic selection of restaurants and cafes including A’Bravo Bistro, River’s Bend Steak and Seafood Restaurant, plus great coffee at Luna Coffee and Exchange Coffee, and you’ll love Seroogy’s Chocolate. For a great day out, check out Bay Beach Amusement Park, Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, the Hearthstone Historic Museum or Atlas Science Center in Appleton or explore Navarino State Wildlife Area. Set in a suburban cul de sac in the greater Green Bay area, Rygar II is surrounded by farmland, the Fox River and industry including paper manufacturing, trucking like Schneider International and outstanding hospitals like Aurora BayCare Medical Center, Bellin Hospital and St Vincent’s Hospitals.
Rygar II is only 9 miles from Green Bay Austin Staubel Airport or 28.8 miles from Appleton International Airport, where you can rent a car, use Turo car sharing, hire a taxicab, limousine or ride share service (Lyft and Uber). Park n Ride is also available in the area. Excellent access to US highway 41 South to get to Oshkosh (43.5 miles) away or Milwaukee (122 miles).
