↠ 24hr Fitness Venue next door, with Yoga, squash, fitness classes, massage, cafe, etc.
↠ 5 min walk to Whitsunday Shopping Centre (Coles, Pharmacy, Bakery, Restaurants, Liquor Stores & more).
↠ Relaxed area among the locals & away from the party scene.
↠ Only 3 min drive/short bus to Airlie's Main Street & Lagoon, or enjoy the famous waterfront boardwalk by either walking or a bike ride - a treat in itself! (Bicycle rentals are available with free drop-off & pick-up; more info provided in our Local Tips binder!)
↠ Local bus stops close by (some tours & restaurants also offer free shuttles!).
↠ Public boat launch at VMR, 1 min drive away.
↠ Cannonvale is considered to be a rural town, and we love that about it! It has a relaxed, beachy small town vibe. It also means that some things can be a bit rustic.
↠ BIKE: Our location is ideal for an enjoyable / mostly flat bike ride to town via the famous Bicentennial
Walk-way/Boardwalk. You will be spoiled by the views along the waters edge and are likely to spot turtles and fish in the vibrant colour of the lapping coral sea (particularly at Turtle Boardwalk). There are cafes and restaurants along the way, so plenty of places to refresh, sit and observe boats coming in and out of the marinas, enjoying the local vibe. Depending on your speed, it is about a 15 min ride to Abell Point Marina, and 20 mins to Airlie Town Centre (we have recommended the best deal in town for bicycle rentals with free drop-off & pick-up in our Local Tips binder!).
↠ WALK: Plenty of things are walkable from our location, including the beach, Whitsunday Shopping Centre, and Bicentennial Walk-way. If you have time to spare and prefer not to rent a bicycle, you can walk right to Airlie's Town Centre along the waterfront in about 45 mins (depending on your speed / stops; you could make an entire day of it if you stop to take in everything along the way!). There are plenty of places to rest & refresh, but take a water bottle, sunscreen, and hat, as this is North Queensland and can be quite warm.
↠ BUS: There are several bus stops close by as a quicker option if you don't have a vehicle or bike rental (we have a copy of the transit schedules in our binder).
↠ DRIVE/TAXI: Parking & Taxi service info is also provided (everything is a short drive from our central location).
↠ FREE SHUTTLES: Some tours & restaurants also offer free shuttles, so be sure to ask when you book with them!
↬ We have been doing property management for over 5 years now, as a full time owners/managers.
↬ You can book you on a bus shuttle to and from Proserpine Airport with Heart of the Reef Shuttle.
↬ There are stairs in this townhouse so it's not child proof. If you choose to stay here with children, it is done so at your own risk.
↬ There are other units with local residents around and behind our townhouse, so please no parties or schoolies (see more under House Rules).
↬ Cannonvale is considered to be a rural town, and we love that about it! It has a relaxed, beachy, small town vibe so close to Airlie Beach. It also means that some things can be a bit rustic. IE: our access road is not sealed so just be aware of the uneven ground when parking, and watch your step for potential puddles after rain.
↬ For the Mum's and Dad's that need a night off from the kids, we know of a very reputable and reliable baby sitter, also we hire out cots and prams must book in advance.
↬ We supply a complimentary starter kit for your stay, coffee, tea, sugar, milk, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, toilet paper, salt and pepper, just to make your stay even easier.
↬ We have done our best to provide a beautiful, comfortable, and homey place for your stay, and are positive you will love this apartment.
The following Code of Conduct governs tenant behaviour and use of the property. The tenant agrees to follow the guidelines below, for themselves and any visitor they allow at the property.
TENANTS: A responsible adult (over 21 years of age) must always be on this site when children are present.
No unauthorised people permitted to stay overnight. Maximum 6 guests allowed on this property.
NOISE AND NUISANCE: The tenants agree not to cause or permit nuisance at the property. This includes excessive noise, disruptive behaviour. Noise should generally cease after 9pm Sunday through to Thursday and 10pm Friday and Saturday, but consideration should always be given to neighbouring properties. The guests agree that the premises will NOT BE USED AS A PARTY HOUSE.
PARKING: is available off and on street.
GARBAGE/TRASH AND RECYCLING: Guests are to dispose of garbage and recycling accordance with the usual practice, bins have been provided. NO rubbish is to be thrown in the garden.
PREMISES CONDITION AND CLEANLINESS: The tenants agree to leave the premise in a clean and tidy condition upon vacating, with all fittings and chattels in their original condition and position at the beginning of stay. All items provided for use are to remain property of the premises. Tenants are to advise the property manager of any damage or disrepair within 12 hours of this occurring. Any repairs for damage or excessive cleaning that is attributed to the tenants stay will be paid for by the tenants; including but not limited to stains on sheets and towels.
KEYS: At the end of the agreed tenancy, tenants agree to lock the premises, close all windows turn lights and air conditioning off and return one key to the lock box Any lost keys will be replaced at the tenant’s expense. Please make sure you lock up each time you leave the property.
SMOKING: All tenants agree to abide by the no-smoking rule anywhere inside or outside this property.
TERMINATION OF ACCOMMODATION: If tenants are found to have contravened any of the above Code of Conduct responsibilities, a verbal warning will be issued. If the contravention is not rectified immediately the accommodation booking will be terminated within 2 hours’ notice of the Property Manager’s discretion. No refunds will be made.
No smoking allowed on the property.
No parties or events to be held on the property. (no schoolies, hen's, bucks etc..)
No pets allowed on the property inside or outside.
No loud noise or loud music.
To look after our property and respect our belongings.
If any of these rules are in breach there will be penalties applied and possible eviction.
Parking there is street parking and also a lane way park available right near this unit.
The Whitsunday council have applied most of these house rules and require a signature on arrival of the house rules.
With children there are stairs so be mindful of that when booking, they are your responsibility with stairs, T.V not mounted on the wall, cleaning products in cupboards (can always put them up and away), so it's not child proof.
