Super spacious and stylish 2 bed period terrace house, with super high quality beds for an incredible nights sleep - fresh white linen/towels. Original wooden floors, high ceilings, huge fireplace, glazed windows, brand new bathroom & kitchen, luxury appliances & fittings. Amazing location, on a very quiet street but close to city centre by tram (5 mins walk) Free on street parking & cafes, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, parks on your doorstep.
The House
Completely renovated to a high standard with bags of charm and character - the house is really bright and spacious with high ceilings and big windows as well as original features.
Really fast broadband internet WIFI that works throughout the house and has never had any problems ( I have worked from home so really have tested the internet to the max, and know how important this can be especially if you're staying for work!)
The house is very safe and secure with double glazed windows, security doors and locks although it’s a really safe residential area and a very quiet street with lovely friendly neighbours who take pride in living here and all look out for each other.
There is free on street parking right outside the house but it’s also a brilliant location if you don’t have a car or prefer to walk as everything is literally on your doorstep. There is a manual in the house for local recommendations and directions to shops, restaurants, pubs etc.
It is a very welcoming house, designed and decorated to be a real home so not a "typical rental" style property. It has lots of style and personality and we hope you'll feel at home. There is an iron, ironing board, hoover and hair drier for guests to use, all the normal stuff you might need!
All of the bedding, towels, crockery, cutlery etc are high quality and brand new so no dodgy surprises, or anything mismatching! The appliances fixtures and fittings have all been installed within last 6 months, so the whole house works perfectly – there’s also a new boiler so reliable hot water and remote control central heating.
LIVING ROOM:
Large (ridiculously comfy!) velvet sofa from Loaf perfect for relaxing with Netflix after a long day. Smart TV, WIFI box, huge feature fireplace.
KITCHEN:
Heart of the home! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need for your stay and all plates, bowls, cups, pots, pans and utensils are brand new. Large Retro Fridge and freezer, kettle, and everything else you’d expect in a functioning kitchen. There’s a 6 ring “SMEG” range cooker for anyone who likes to cook up a storm. There’s also a separate combi microwave/oven/grill if you prefer to keep meals quick and simple, but also lots of restaurants within walking distance and take aways in the area if you want to really relax and forget cooking completely! Miele washing machine and detergent/conditioner if you have any laundry. (For anyone on a longer term rental we have an amazing housekeeping lady who can pop round by arrangement) Selection of teas; and a few basics. There’s also a juicer if you want to be extra healthy during your stay! Large wooden kitchen table with 4 chairs perfect for sharing a meal or working from home.
Stairs in Kitchen lead to upstairs landing - the stairs are wooden painted and a little bit steeper than average, just wanted to mention it in case anyone has any mobility concerns and also anyone coming with children please take extra care – we don’t have a stair gate so this is maybe something to consider if you have little ones but please drop us a line if you have any questions or and we will try to help if we can.
MASTER BEDROOM:
Beautiful restored wooden floorboards, amazing quality king size bed (also from Loaf also with mattress topper so you are guaranteed an incredible night sleep! High quality pillows and hypo allergic duvet. Hanging wardrobe space as well as chest of drawers for storage.
There is an additional (very comfy) double mattress which can be pulled out from under the main bed - guests are welcome to use this if needed but you will need to bring your own bedlinen.
SECOND BEDROOM:
Really generous size second bedroom with another king size bed, (another insanely comfortable mattress and topper so whoever takes the smaller room won’t feel short changed!) hanging rail with shelving above.
Both bedrooms have blinds as well as white linen curtains. A full set of good quality matching white towels (bath towel, hand towel and face cloths) will be left for however many guests are staying. Our lovely housekeeping lady will do all the laundry after you check out - this is included in the “cleaning fee” but if you would like a laundry change or additional cleaning during your stay this can be arranged.
BATHROOM:
Newly installed luxury bathroom, bath with Victorian taps and shower attachment. Shower over bath with glass shower screen. Large mirror and great lighting so a lovely space to get ready to go out or relax when you come in!

-No parties or loud music and please keep noise down after 10pm. We have lovely neighbours with kids and we want to keep a good relationship going with them.
- No smoking inside the house - we'll leave an ashtray in the yard if you want to smoke
-No shoes upstairs please to avoid any damage to our lovely old floorboards
Guest access
-The whole house is available for guests use and has been set up with every detail to make sure your stay is as comfy as possible and you really feel at home.
Other things to note
If guests would like to use the extra mattress that's stored under the main bedroom bed please be aware you will need to bring your own bedding/ linen.
