DIRECTIONS TO CAMPSITE: FOLLOW ONLY FOR GPS PURPOSES to the directions for the closest address you will be given to the campsite when you make the reservation. (Camp sites in the woods to not have addresses) DO NOT GO TO THIS HOUSE !!! Drive to the next driveway up the road on left side with the YELLOW CHAIN going across. (Refer to Picture in Photos section) Remove chain and park your car in the designated area and Look to your left for the green arrow and follow the path with the red reflectors and sign to Tent site. It is not recommended you go after dark unless you have experience and light sources and good at navigating in the dark in the woods. There is no one to guide you to the campsite. You will be on your own. We have no responsibility if you cannot locate your campsite or call after dark for directions.
Nestled on a ridge with mountain Laurel and fresh air. Tranquil and secluded yet easy to get to. Stock up on supplies at the local G Mart supermarket which has a BEER Cave in the back with a wide selection and Don't forget Ice for the onsite cooler ! Mountain bike around the back dirt road. Close too many local attractions such as soaring in a glider plane at the Wurstboro airport, Swimming at the local water hole at Sandburg creek. Hiking at the Delaware and Hudson canal Linear Park or Katrina Falls along the Neversink River. Wine tasting, kayaking, Birdwatching and Fishing for Pickerel and Large Mouth bass at the Basha kill preserve and Winery. You will need a NYS Fishing License to fish on most public lands in New York State. An easy drive to Minnewaska state preserve to visit Sam's Point, Ice Cave Mountains and MInnewaska Lake.
Check out Westwind Orchard & Cidery with homeade pasta and pizza and Arrowood Farms Brewery and Distillery in nearby Accord. Kelder's Farm in Kerhonkson (for Wine Slushies, Sunflower Festival, etc..) The Dale (food and drinking with live entertainment) High Voltage(with a great outdoor bar area) and Forage & Gather Market in Moutaindale. SAMS POINT and ICE Cave Mountain in Minnewaska State Park is a must!!! (Check out the website to make parking reservations) There is a list of local places to check out with Maps inside the green binder in the tent. And if you have the itch.. a 15 minute drive to Monticello to the newly constructed Catskill Resort Casino and Kartrite Indoor water park.
Due to Covid-19 make sure you bring your own sheets, Blankets/Sleeping bags and pillows. PLEASE READ THE CAMPERS MANUAL IN THE GREEN BINDER in the tent. DO NOT TAKE THE BINDER OUTSIDE ! After you use the outdoor bathroom you have to seal the bag and put it in the Metal trash can and place a fresh bag in the bucket for the next person!!! They are located in the Loo tent itself or in the outdoor picnic bench storage box area. Keep tiolet paper in metal container and make sure the top is securely on at all times. Completely zipper close the bathroom LOO at all times ! Please remember to put recyclables in the small plastic garbage bin with the Blue Liner and regular trash in Metal trash can, Replace with new Liners located in the picnic bench storage box, KEEP lids securely closed on all trash bins and carry all trash out with you and you can put in the Thompson trash bins at end of the next driveway on your right. Leave tent windows one quarter the way down when you leave. Do not completely close the tent windows.

The Space:
Secluded Beautiful site LESS THAN 2 Hours from NYC up Route 17 west close to the Historic Nevele Hotel. It was the most elegant and famous Resort in the Catskills in the 60's, 70's and 80's. YOU TUBE IT ! (Abandoned Ski Resort) BY Bright Sun Films. Also Bethel Woods arts and performance center and Yasgur's Farm where the Famous Woodstock Festival in 1969 took place are nearby. Download and watch the Awesome movie " Taking Woodstock". This campsite is suited for 2 PEOPLE. Extra campers will be charged $25.00 per night per camper for a total of 4 campers onsight. It is a Self-Sustaining Campsite to keep rental costs down so please leave the site as you arrived and clean up after yourselves!!! The Town of Wurtsboro is a few miles away where you can go to the G Mart Supermarket for food , Beverages, (check out the BEER CAVE) Ice, Bundled wood Etc....Stewarts for bundled wood for the campfire and other groceries, and shops such as Canal Town Emporium and crystal connection (crystalconnectionnewyork.com) and the Famous Custard's Last Stand. There is a Charcoal BBQ grill on site with complimentary free Charcoal and a Kitchenette with Pots, Pans, Utensils, a Coleman propane stove and a cooler to keep food and beverages cold (Just bring ICE). ALL UNDER A PROTECTED SHELTER FROM THE RAIN next to the tent! There is a Drinking Water filling station and for washing used pots,pans and for drinking ! (Let the water run for a few minutes through the hose so it is nice and cold !) along with a REAL Outdoor shower that is solar heated to some extent but very limited based on sun conditions and outdoor temperatures so it will be on the cooler side most likely. However the water is turned off during the colder months because it will freeze so you must bring your own.There is also a Outdoor shower solar bag located in the picnic bench storage area that you can move around to sunny spots to heat up throughout the day.Just Bring your own Sheets, Blankets/Sleeping bags and pillows. There is a bucket onsite to fill with water and put out any fires you make and also a container to fill with water at the drinking water station to use.
Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with farmers, ranchers, and other property owners to offer unique outdoor accommodations on beautiful private land. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! You'll have the entire campsite to yourself, as you'll be the only Campers enjoying this piece of paradise.
Each campsite includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform, and you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed inside (each site is different, see photos for the exact setup). Larger groups can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided (you’re welcome to bring your own camping gear too). You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night.
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property.
If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!
Occupancy: Max occupancy refers to the total number of campers allowed at the site during your reservation.
Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. Line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag supplied at the camp (or another appropriate plastic bag) prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. We got this idea from bathrooms used on NASA spaceships, and we've used the Tentrr Loo countless times ourselves- don't worry!
Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.
Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.
