Five minutes (1.7 miles) north of our home is Phoenix Sonoran Preserve, an open desert with many miles of hiking and biking trails throughout the 9600 acres of undeveloped desert. The 36 miles of trails range from easy to difficult and include overlooks and mountain summits. There are 3 trail head locations: Desert Vista, Desert Hills and Apache Wash. The park is lush with native cactus and offers prime opportunities to view desert wildlife. The upper bunk has a ladder and rails to enhance safety. Bedroom 3 has a king bed and Bedroom 4 has a queen bed.
