Location
Located in Santa Ponsa, in the south-east of Mallorca, this spectacular apartment offers a shared pool and space for 4 people.
The shared salt pool, sizing 8m x 4m and a depth of 1.3m to 1.8m is surrounded by a terrace with sunbeds, where you can enjoy the maximum of the good weather. On the first floor, the large terrace invites you to dream in the Caribbean hammock, perhaps accompanied by a cocktail. The terrace is furnished so you can have a nice dinner outside with your family. The building is shared with one neighbour and it's located in the town.The bright living room has a satellite TV and fireplace, where you can spend some nice evenings with your family.The well equipped Kitchen has vitro ceramic and there is a washing machine, an iron and ironing board as well.There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds, both equipped with ceiling fans and closets. In case you need it, we can provide you a cot and highchair. The house has two bathrooms, one with a bath and the other with a shower. An air conditioning is installed in the hallway between the rooms. Apart from this, there are four fans. If you are visiting us in the winter we can provide two electric radiators.You can find the beach of Santa Ponça at half a kilometre distance with fine sand. In the village you can find all the necessary facilities for an independent stay, supermarkets, bars, nightclubs and some good restaurants. If you like golf, there are two very good golf courses not far away,in Santa Ponsa and in Poniente. By car you can explore wonderful beaches, like Cala Fornells, Camp de Mar and the little cove of Sant Elm. From Sant Elm you can make a boat trip to the island of Dragonera, it used to be a military base, but today it is a protected natural area. In the island's capital, Palma de Mallorca, you can make a cultural visit and see the famous Cathedral named La Seu, the castle of Bellver with his panoramic views over the bay of Palma and as well of the the picturesque old town.Note: We cannot accept guests under 30 years old, unless they are accompanied by their parents. Surroundings
Mallorca is the largest island of the Balearic Islands, here you think of beach resorts, but there are more ways to enjoy the coast and inland, especially in autumn and winter, when the large groups of tourists are gone and the temperature is therefore more suitable for outdoor activities. You can spend a week in the Tramuntana mountain range in the west of Mallorca, walking or cycling. Or you visit a winery in the center of the island where you can try local traditional wines. Visit a farm by bike or walking, here you can learn how to make sobrasada or mallorquin pork sausages. You will find great places to eat here. The chefs of Mallorca use traditional recipes adapted to modern tastes. There are six Michelin star restaurants on the island. This famous enthusiasm for the local cuisine can also be seen in the other restaurants on Mallorca.
Even though you have been to the island several times, there is always something to discover, especially if you enter the lush inland or explore the spectacular coastline.
Normally the beach season starts in May until the end of October, but the island is also beautiful in spring when the walnut tree is in bloom. Outside the hottest months of July and August, the Balearic Islands are an ideal place for an active holiday, where you can see everything if you are interested in plants and birds, or if you want to discover the local culture.
While many beach resorts close during the winter months, Mallorca is an ideal holiday destination all year round. If you want to do more than lie on the beach, take advantage of the low winter prices and enjoy the taste of real life on the Balearic Islands.
