Villa La Vida | Casa en La Brena

Villa La Vida is a large, luxury, gated five bedroom villa set on the hill just above the pretty little town of Antas in southern Spain. It is one of six luxury properties set in the grounds of an old farm. Set on 1.5 acres of land, with extensive gardens, numerous terraces, its own private tennis court, a large private swimming pool, a jacuzzi and a separate hot tub, this is a wonderful location for those who need a large, secluded, property within striking distance of the Mediterranean coast.
Entrance
Entrance to the property is via wrought iron double gates and then down a long driveway to a large parking area and turning circle, at the front of the villa. The gardens to the front of the property are extensive and mature. To the left hand side of the front of the property is a large double garage.
Ground floor
Entrance to the property is via steps leading from the main driveway onto a raised terrace, then leading to the front door of the property. Throughout the property there is internet access.
On entry there is a small hallway leading directly to the properties salon, dining room and kitchen. The salon, dining room and kitchen, whilst all separately defined as areas within the property, is very much an open plan area. It is fully air conditioned and also contains a fireplace for the winter months.
The salon is equipped with numerous settees, chairs and tables. Double doors to the rear of the salon lead out onto a raised terrace where there is both an outdoor dining area and a separate outdoor seating area. In the salon there is a smart television with access to Spanish and satellite television.
The dining area contains a large dining table, with seating for ten people, a sideboard and a small bookcase. Double doors and windows look out over the raised terrace area, to the rear, to the swimming pool and gardens beyond.
The kitchen is new, after having recently been refitted. It is fully equipped and contains an oven, hob, microwave oven, large fridge, coffee machine and dishwasher.
Down the hallway there is a separate utility room containing a sink, a freezer, an iron and ironing board and a washing machine.
Beyond this there is a twin, air conditioned, bedroom with a built in wardrobe. This looks out over the gardens at the front of the property. Next to this there is a separate bathroom.
Opposite this there is another air conditioned bedroom. This bedroom, a king sized bedroom, has its own ensuite bathroom and has double doors leading out to its own individual terraced area, again looking out over the swimming pool and gardens to the rear of the property.
First floor
A wrought iron staircase leads upstairs to three further king sized bedrooms on the first floor. All three are, again, air conditioned. One looks out over the front gardens. The other two have double doors leading out onto a terrace looking out over the swimming pool and rear gardens. The master bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom and built in wardrobes. The other two bedrooms share a separate bathroom on the first floor. This looks out onto a separate, large, private terrace overlooking the properties tennis court. This terrace is accessed via a separate door.
Outside
To one side of the property there is a courtyard containing a barbeque, a seating area and an outbuilding containing a toilet and storage facilities. An archway at the side of the courtyard leads down to a boules court.
To the other side of the property one finds the villas own private, hard surface, tennis court. To the side of the tennis court there is a gazebo containing a number of chairs and a table. This provides not only a secluded seating area, for a quiet moment, but also a seating area for spectators who want to watch anyone playing tennis.
To the rear of the property there is a raised terrace containing an outside dining table and chairs, as well as a separate area with relaxing settees and chairs. Steps lead down from this to the large terraces that surround the properties private 14 x 8 metre private kidney shaped swimming pool. Here you will find numerous sun beds to relax on. Beyond the pool there is a further terraced area leading to the edge of the valley that looks out over Antas, to Mojacar, the Cabrera mountains and the Mediterranean coastline.
Beside the swimming pool there is a separate jacuzzi. Next to this there is another large gazebo containing settees and chairs to relax on. At the other end of the swimming pool there is a separate, small, terrace containing a separate hot tub.
